You and any children who travelled with you must wear a well-constructed and properly fitted masks while in public areas for the 14 days after your entry. Your children must wear masks even if they are going to schools and daycares.

Scenario 1: Any children under the age of 5 years travelling to Canada.

Children under 5 are not required to be vaccinated. Also, they are not  required to do any pre-entry testing, arrival testing and quarantine, without any limitations on their activities.

Scenario 2: Any children aged 5 through 11 travelling to Canada.

Adults travelling with fully vaccinated children should upload their children’s proof of vaccination into ArriveCAN. As fully vaccinated travellers, they aren’t required to provide proof of a pre-entry test result. They are also exempt from quarantine, without any limitations on their activities.

Any children or Adult may be randomly selected for Arrival testing who is fully vaccinated.

Any Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated traveller must provide a valid pre-entry test result. Also, they will need to wear a mask in public areas for the first 14 days after arrival to Canada.

However, they are not required to do quarantine. They can attend school or daycare without any waiting for a 14 days period.

Scenario 3: Anyone aged 12 to 17 years travelling to Canada?

They must complete the 14-day quarantine, and must perform all pre-entry testing, arrival testing and Day-8 tests.  They are not exempted from these requirements, even if they are accompanied by travellers who qualify as a fully vaccinated traveller.

Scenario 4: Any Unvaccinated adult dependents

Anyone who is 18 years of age or over, and unvaccinated because of mental or physical limitation may enter Canada but must follow all testing and quarantine requirements. They must obey all entry requirements, even if their accompanying parent or guardian qualifies as a fully vaccinated traveller.
