As IRCC announced in 2020, in order to manage increasing program and service delivery costs that permanent residence fees would increase every 2 years.

Hence, April 30, 2022, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has implemented this change, and increased the fees for all permanent residence applications.
